Inauguration Session Report

 

The Welcome address proposed by Mr. V. Shanmugam, Secretary/ State Co-ordinator for NYKC, TSRO-TN and welcomed the gatherings. With the leadership of Prof.M.Selvam, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Bharathidasan University, the seminar has started with the notion of the importance of Health through Naturopathy and Yoga practices in day to day life and Tamilnadu is the most forward state in Naturopathy practices adoption, NYKC Plans to set up 250 naturopathy yoga Kendra clinics in Tamilnadu in next one year based on the report he added .Dr.P.Soundarapandiyan,President -Indian Naturopathy and Yoga Graduates Medical Association (INYGMA) Tamil Nadu has claimed Indian Naturopathy & Yoga Graduates Medical Association [INYGMA] is a non-profit association for Naturopathy & Yoga Graduates. INYGMA was formed when rational minded & strong willed Naturopathy & Yoga professional sat together on a balmy day in Chennai in 2000.Since its inception the INYGMA has focused on the advancement of Naturopathy & Yoga education & practice aimed towards improving of care of patients. Now a day, the INYGMA members include Principals, Professors, Department Heads, Research Heads, Research Scientist, Experienced Naturopathy & Yoga Doctors, Young Budding Doctors, University Postgraduates & Undergraduate Students across the country. The INYGMA currently has around 2000 members

 

Dr.A.M.Chandrasekar, Secretary-Secretary, Indian Naturopathy and Yoga Graduates Medical Association (INYGMA) Tamil Nadu  added his views on rendering the service on efficient environmental service to the earth, safeguard and promote the interests, rights, liberties of the members of the Association, ventilate the problems and secure readressal of the grievances of the members, promote social and education uplift of the Members, promote and propagate the practice of and to develop the systems of Indian Naturopathy & Yoga as a medical system.

To increase the awareness among the general public of the Naturopathy & Yoga system and to conduct awareness / medical camps, awareness programs through media, seminars, exhibitions etc., for this purpose, conduct counselling sessions in schools, colleges etc., for spreading awareness among students as to the career opportunity in the Naturopathy & Yoga system., minimize the consumption of chemicals and drugs by the people at large through any form of treatment, as these could be harmful to the human health in the long run, promote the Naturopathy & Yoga system as a system of treatment with a minimum of side-effects or after-effects to the physical and mental health,represent at all levels of Government, the cause and interests of the Indian Naturopathy & Yoga Medical Practitioners, for the purpose of framing conducive policies, securing grants, subsides or support for research, seminars, exhibitions, awareness/medical camps, equipment, buildings, publishing of books, journals, magazines, newspapers or other facilities for treatment etc.

SESSION- I REPORT

 

The first session, Dr. Y. Deepa, HOD Manipulative Therapy, Govt. Yoga & Naturopathy Medical College & Hospital, Chennai narrated her thoughts on Yoga targets bringing the different physical processes into wonderful coordination so they work to ultimately benefit the entire body. Naturopathy isn't an arrangement of medication however a lifestyle dependent essentially upon the old act of the use of the straightforward laws of nature and Naturopathy invigorates positive reasoning, brings down pressure, nervousness and despondency, works on generally wellbeing, upgrades viewpoint, helps confidence, and works on one's capacity to adapt to wellbeing related issues.  The second session, Dr. S.Ramesh, Avl, Chairman, Tamil Nadu Board of Rural Development (TNBRD) KVK-ICAR Scientific Advisory Committee, Chennai claimed that A new method of cultivating paddy to increase the yield with advanced technologies gained interest of farmers of Thiruvannamalai district. The method involves low seed rate, square planting, cono weeding and leaf colour chart based nutrient application. About 60000 hectares have been converted under this method out of 1.25 lakhs hectares in Thiruvannamalai district by continues efforts shown by Department of agriculture. The TNBRD also involved in the dissemination of SRI to the farmers of the district through organizing various training programmers, demonstrations and adoptive research trials.

 

SESSION- II REPORT

The first session, Dr. M. OVIYA, BNYS., Methodology RMO-NYKC, Madurai noted her speech on The yogic eating regimen focuses on the utilization of normal, natural food sources that advance otherworldly, mental, and actual wellbeing and lines up with yogic way of thinking. It depends basically on the yogic standards of ahimsa, sattva, and saucha. Ahimsa is generally meant peacefulness. SESSION- III REPORT

 

The first session , Dr. P. Natarajamurthy, Online Programme Co-ordinator,

BECH - RUSA 2.0, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli spoke on NYKC - Industry - Academia Partnership Linkage weightage on Naturopathy is a blended and widely inclusive elective clinical system that centers more around ordinary solutions and the body's basic ability to fix and keep up with itself. Regardless, Ayurveda is a piece of prescription that facilitates the body, brain, and soul to prevent and fix various kinds of disorders

The second session, Mr. S. Ganesan, President, TSRO-TN - Role of NGO’s in NYKC, Role of BNYS Doctors and NYKC / Resources underlined to make mindfulness about the advantages of naturopathy.
